General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Considering you are otherwise healthy, pregnancy has been excluded. This goes to be due to hormonal imbalance caused by psychological stress due to the migraine and ankle swelling (have to be analysed and treated accordingly). In my view, hormonal pills to stimulate withdrawal bleeding followed by three consecutive cyclical courses of hormones would help. In case of no response, you need more investigations to understand the cause followed by specific treatment. Please consult a gynecologist for suitable prescription.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
